I made these a few weeks ago for my littlest one. I'm still playing with the pattern for size purposes. There reversable. The one side is baby blue flannel and the other is brown microfleece. I used this tute: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/reversible_fabric_baby_shoes It's very easy. The pattern size is for a very little baby. Like newborn size. My little guy is a size 1 so I increased the size by a 1/2 inch all the way around. That seemed to work. But the arch is still a little tight. So I'll have to go for round three. Third times a charm  Undecided
Oh and I want to make these for my toddlers. Does anyone know where to get that non- skid material to use for the soles?

I've bought the non-skid stuff. I think at Hancock Fabrics. Maybe JoAnn's.

Very cute!  I love the style of these shoes.  I found Robeez when my youngest was a babe but they are so expensive.  It's nice to be able to have a cloth alternative.  I wish I would have found these when my oldest was a babe.  He was born in December so he occassionally had some cold toes when he kicked off his socks.

Cute & Joann's sells jiffy dots for non skid bottoms. I think you can get it by the yard or packaged cut piece.

I've read on here that some of the mommas use puff paint for non-skid.

Oooh... That's a fun idea! You could make little custom details. Little hearts. Bows. Words. Names.

Thanks girls. I did find those Jiffy dots. Puff paint that's a neat idea. I might just have to try that.
