i feel silly posting, but oh well~ the pink is bombyx cultivated silk, 1.5 oz 43yrds spun on my drop spindle, the gold is topaz bamboo, just a smidgen...

Wow! You all have some beautiful yarn!! I am in love with the one titled "Autumn Camping"- it's georgeous!! I fear I am going to have to invest in yet another craft!!

I've spun up the awesome red batts that I got from you in trade, but have once again failed to take a pic, darn it.  Next week!

ohohoh!! my first fiber friday!!!    I was so excited to ge these done for today, and then I couldn't find my camera, so I had to use photobooth on my mac... these are probably pretty blurry...  But I can't wait to share.  I'm so in love with this spinning!!
Now they can't compare to everyone elses here (so much amazing stuff here!),  but they are my firsts and I'm so proud of em anyway!



Both were made with some kind of wool... I forgot to have a look at the type. And done on a drop spindle (still looking for a good deal on a wheel)  But they are super soft and I can't help but look at them and touch them 100 times a day! lol.

Kinda intimidating is soo right.  So many things posted on here are so crazily amazing that I don't even know if I'll ever get that good!  but there is hope for us all right? XD

Great yarn everybody! My favourites so far are Autumn leaves, Autumn sunset and Selkie.

Curly - tailspun Cotswold locks, just 13 yards out of 45 gram


Clay - 288 yards Romney and Merinocross wool spun straight from the lock


And some batts I carded. If I get a chance beside decorating I'll spin up the Moonlight ones next week.
