Here's my embroidery kit from southern flower! I practically snatched it from the postman Grin I took lots of photos so bear with me! Cheesy

Here is the box! I've never received a box before! Can you tell how excited I am?! Grin

I tore at the box for 5 minutes because I couldn't figure out where the opening was! It was completely covered with tape! When I finally opened it, I saw an EMBROIDERY BOOK! (Let's all pretend this picture isn't blur!:P)

She sent sent me TONS of embroidery floss! She must have bought the whole store!

There was also a box to keep all my new floss organized, a pair of embroidery scissors, needles and lots of floss bobbins!

That's not all! At the bottom I found embroidery hoops, pin up girl patterns (thank you thank you thank you!) and A PILLOW EMBROIDERY KIT! Shocked There's also some cloth which somehow didn't get into this picture but it's in the last picture of this post!

Last but definitely not least, she sent me THREE DRESS PATTERNS!! She knew I wanted some and offered to send a few! (We shall all pretend this picture isn't blur either)

Here's everything together now!

Thank you so so much southern flower! I love everything and I can't wait to get started! This has really been a great experience and I'll definitely be joining more swaps after this!

PS. Sorry for posting so many pictures but I just HAD to show everything! I also think I've worn out my laptops exclamation mark with this post Cheesy

Cya,
Yep you can use errrm chip and candy wrappers? is that right? In England I mean crisp and chocolate wrappers.
As long as they're foil they melt really well.

smacckk it's really safe. the plastic doesn't even let off any fumes that I'm aware of. All though that might explain a few things............ lol.

I'm glad you liked it.  Grin

Yay! My package from Bolshy Walshy arrived today! In fact, it was just being delivered as I got home from picking my kiddos up from school, and will give me something to do while they are home from school the rest of the week (Thanksgiving holiday and all). My partner was so generous and thoughtful, I am really overwhelmed!

Fresh from the postman's bag...

As I opened the box... (Bolshy Walshy. has the prettiest handwriting!)

The DIY jewelry kit (included: instructions for making a necklace, pliers, a nifty little storage case with compartments, chain, earing hooks and studs/posts, 3 different kinds of clasps, needlethreader, 4 sizes of jump rings, silver plated wire, fishing wire, head pins, brooch backs, small green glass beads, medium sized green glass beads, small pink, lavender, and a dark pink/purple color glass beads, gorgeous glass beads from France and England, then bags and bags of stones - sodalite, quartz, howlite (never heard of it before, but they are a gorgeous bright blue), rose quartz, amethyst, malachite, and some others in greens, brick, black, rose..., and some extra little sealy bags!)

And if that were not enough, she also sent along some card making items! (The jewelry making pliers are in this picture, because I ran out of room in the other frame with the jewelry things!)

And, to top it all off, Bolshy Walshy. crafted some earrings I had wisted ages ago, and they are so beautiful! I just love these to pieces! The candle is modeling because I don't have anyone here to take a picture of me wearing them, but they are the PERFECT size and weight and everything!!!

Thanks so much, Grace! You are a truly wonderful swap partner. I appreciate the package so much!

Eep! And I forgot to mention the gorgeous flower brooch she KNIT for me, as a little extra! (Because it was already pinned to my jacket and therefore was not on the table with the rest of the goodies). I had NO idea you could knit a flower... But then, I can barely knit a scarf...  Tongue

But it is so soft and in the prettiest shade of blue, it reminds me of the twilight sky in winter.

*Note: I tried to edit my other post to add this in, but apparently my internet is arguing with me and would not load the edit page thingy.

That is a wonderful jewelry kit plus an added bonus of the cardmaking kit.
