The hair/scarf coincidence is just funny! I didn't know you had red hair now 
The Argyle scarf is loosely based on the scarf from that Debbie Stoller book for manly knits, only I reconstructed it from photos. It is indeed double knit, a first time for me, so it took a bit longer for the first half. I plan on knitting one for me too as it was really hard to part with it!

Your fab package arrived here too! Photos to follow next week as soon as I get the time and atleast daylight...for everyone else, just one word...MUFF 

P.S.: Just wanted to say that a bunch of really creative craftsters were in this swap, haven't seen a scarf I didn't liked!

I got my package today from haroldlovesmaude!!! I love my dino scarf, lifesavers, handwarmers and hot cocoa! Yay perfection! Especially because I can wear the gloves and scarf because they are wool free!


P.S. sorry the picture is SO crappy! My boyfriend has my camera in Iceland, as I thought he would need it more than I would.

P.P.S. I forgot to say that the dino's are POCKETS!!! I KNOW everyone LOVES pockets!!! haha!  also, the green is fleece and the purple is swirly awesome! Also, the handwarmers have a really awesome cable in them, sorry you can't see in the picture, I am so glad to have them because when I knit I get really bad hand cramps (therefore needing wine before knitting starts...haha) and so I can't knit that well.

So, I was just looking at the USPS tracking with excitement for my package from violette28 wondering if it was coming today or tomorrow.  It just said that it arrived in Milwaukee but there was no 'out for delivery' info, so I just figured I would get it tomorrow...

And then I went and checked my mailbox!!  WOOT!  I received an awesome package!  Thank You SOOOOO much violette28! 

Pretty fall colors...


Lip gloss made by violette28.  I use lip gloss year round!!  And I love that it is scented and it is perfect, not sticky at all!!


Cutie little amigurumi birdy.  My 4yo has been carrying this around since I took the picture.  ::tweet tweet::


Amigurumi octopus.  I LOVE this little fella.  So cute and the colors are just too much fun.  (My kitten has been trying to steal this already!)


And last but definitely not least... my gorgeous fall scarf.  There is no mistaking that this is a fall scarf!  The colors are so similar to beautiful fall foliage and it is so scrumptious and warm.  (And I need warm... it's a chilly 31 degrees right now!  brrr...)
