Thanks for the positive comments everyone!  I've been holding onto that jacket for ages and I'm glad I did!  I just wish it had been big enough to make TWO scarves. Cheesy  It was suuuper warm (hopefully not too warm!).

Here's a close up of the really, really subtle embroidery

Here's another of the clutch

You can see I just took the one inner seam apart and made two seams.  That was it! (sorta Cheesy)

I'm really glad you liked everything oneredboot! You were an AWESOME partner!  Grin

There will be NO throwing away of craft matter on MY watch!

Oh, no. You can't throw stuff away. I love looking through the old magazines to see how styles and things have changed.

That rainbow scarf is so bright and colorful, TSmith. I love it.

I can't believe you made both a scarf and a teapot heartsanddaggers. They're both awesome!

thanks!  but let me clarify a little bit... i was SERIOUSLY aided by the use of a form and a pottery guild owner.  i basically just had a mold that i tweaked and then painted, glazed and fired.  i'd feel bad taking credit for being some master potter, lol.  especially when i have friends who really are amazing.  if you could see some of the stuff the guild produces... it's mind-boggling!

here are pictures of my lovely items from irasema.

group shot: my scarf, wrist cuff, and embroidery kit

closeup of the cuff:

the scarf is nice and cuddly, and it's been so cold here in New England that I've been wearing it a lot.

thanks irasema!!

I am seriously in love with this clutch!  I usually carry a large purse, but since I got this clutch I've put all the important stuff in it, then I just throw it in my large bag when I go to school, or grab the clutch when I just need the essentials.  Perfect!  Plus it's incredibly cleverly made, which makes me happy.  Smiley  And no worries, the scarf is definitely not too warm--it's just right!  I'm always cold.  In fact, I'm wearing it now, indoors, at home, at the computer.  Smiley  Thanks again, jungrrl!!
