cute cute cute cuute!

And fantastic details, like the wings with the pipe cleaners and all the bones etc -- very inspiring as I spend my days making or thinking about puppets. Smiley

Great job!

thanks guys! apparently the young man super dragon is living with now promptly removed that cape and said he didn't need it to fly because he has wings. how silly of me Cheesy
perhaps it will fit another cuddly friend who is lacking in flight capability. hee.

I just love your Super Dragon. How did you attach the tail was i stuffed then attached or was it part of the back pattern?

the tail is a separate piece that i stuffed and hand stitched on. it had to be that way, i don't think it would have fit on the same piece with the legs. not in that configuration anyhow!
it was weird attaching the point on the end of the tail too because i had to cut a slit across the opposite way of the seams between the two tail pieces and the fabric was very scanty right there at the end of the tail. good thing it's fleece. fleece is so very forgiving!

there are two wings but they are joined at the top. then i placed them around one of the spikes and stitched along side on both sides of the spike. that was a little ridiculous actually. if i were to do it again i'd plan that bit so it was easier. very fussy. i poked myself. ow.

I recommend this little guy to anyone, I don't think you need a little one for it. Seriously, i've wanted to take it from the boy more than once. So darn cute!!!!!
And really, the cape thing, still gets me. He's so darn logical sometimes it scares me:P
And the stitching, maybe fussy, but looks soooooooooo good, I really only hope my stitches can look half as nice one day:)
