I'd tell y'all what I'm doing for the other small for my partners but then I'd spoil the surprise.   Lips sealed

What a dilemma!!!

Riario,

Would you happen to know where a pattern for a crocheted version of those socks might be?

ellen-j

I haven't looked at this page in forever, but it's one of my favorite hubs for crochet patterns of all sorts.  I linked specifically to the Christmas ornament page, so if there's a pattern out there, this is more than likely to have it.  I did see at least three crocheted stocking ornament patterns.  Good luck!

I was pouring over my Christmas craft mags...got some cute ideas but nothing really grabbed my attention...that's when I took the trip to Michael's,40% coupon in hand, for some inspiration......I like to cruise the isles and brainstorm...

Oh. Em. Gee.  I was surfing the board, looking for this thread and accidentally popped onto the other Christmas Ornament swap...which has 19 pages!  Shocked  I thought ya'll had gotten extremely chatty overnight.  Grin

I'm enjoying my conversations via PM with my partners.  I have one main ornament locked down for one partner, a type of ornament locked down for another partner, still brainstorming for the last partner..and the extra small pinned down completely!  Excellent!

And all of this crafty ornamenting brainstorming has inspired me.  Thanksgiving weekend is actually going to be relatively quiet up at my mom's, so I emailed my mom and asked her if she wanted to work on some ornaments to give out to friends and colleagues over that weekend with my daughter and me.  I live in a small apartment, but my mom has a wonderful craft room filled with magical craft supplies!  Grin  I figure we'll pick a couple of different type of ornaments and do several of each to give out.  It should be some excellent women bonding time!  Smiley

My sister and I are doing something similar on Thanksgiving weekend.  We decided that for the most part, instead of baking cookies (which is terrible for our waistlines) to give to people for the holidays, we're going to make lots and lots of fun melt and pour soap.  So one day that weekend we'll turn her gigantic kitchen into a soap factory.  We never get that kind of crafty bonding, so we're both looking forward to it!

I'm excited!  I have 2 main ornaments decided on out of the three and 2 second items decided on out of the three...  Should be alot of fun.  I'm trying a couple things I haven't really tried, so fingers crossed! Smiley
