It looks awesome! And the shirt looks great, don't worry about what they say. I used to frequent the lj lolita communities before I got tired of people telling me what to wear/how to wear it. That mentality is draining.

This is beautiful and I think the shirt matches perfectly! I thought it was all one piece when I first looked at it.

yeah ef the LJ folks. they get catty and personally id rather bend the rules then stick to them strictly. thats how new trends begin! i think it looks nice. i like to mix and match patterns in the same color family too. i also have just begun sewing lolita! its great because i feel like i can be more creative and expressive then when i have to worry about "but would i WEAR this?" so yeah- dont let LJ discourage you and keep sewing lolita!

Aw, it's adorable! I particularly like the polka-dotted fabric, and I think the shirt underneath matches fine.

Very cute dress, and nice touch with the matching bow.

I also thought the shirt was part of the dress, so nice job matching your colors!  You picked great fabrics with which to work, and the drape of the skirt is beautiful, too.

Eee! Mega-cute, I would say almost country-loli. All you need is a large straw hat with a super-cute pink ribbon and bow and a little pink and white gingham picnic basket.. Smiley Great coordination with the fabrics, makes a very together jsk.

I like the blouse you are wearing, but it may be too much stripe for most. A pink with maybe a delicate pattern (cotton eyelet, maybe) would be even sweeter.

Oh, and I almost completely forgot! The headbow is so freaking perfect!

I love the combination of prints you chose!  They go together so nicely. Smiley
