i particularly love to recon blankets, sheets, table cloths and curtains. they recon fairly easy and all the edges are finished! the big lots near me has kitchen curtains for $5. i fell in love with this tan/cream/black plaid and made a skirt! super easy recon. no buttons, zippers or tricky business. just elastic and et voila!

the last pic is the skirt by itself with no belt. i can't decide how i want to wear it but i'm leaning towards the belt because i think a black belt and black heels would work well.
enjoy! critique! be well!  Cheesy

edit: forgot to add a pic of the original curtains. i don't have a shot of them in the package, but i have a pic of the package picture insert. the picture is of 1 valance and 2 curtains. i used both curtains.

Oh I love this that is crazy to look at curtains and say that makes a nice skirt.  It looks awesome.  I like it both with and without the belt but I am leaning toward the belt too!  You look hot in it! Wink

That is so cute, I love re-purposeing stuff too! I think it looks best with the belt and with black heels it would be fab!

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.

That's awesome! I'd definitely keep the belt with it, it pulls it all together. Awesome idea. It looks really nice on you, too.
