Delicious ballet Flats-!

This is my first attempt at footwear. I tried to use iheartohmy's tutorial, but I could never get the pattern sized to my foot correctly, so I ended up making my own pattern. They are lined and have removable insoles. The bottom soles are vinyl, but I'm looking into some textured PVC material to cover the vinyl eventually. Input would be greatly appreciated! What do you think?

What a genius idea!!  My goodness!  I have some gorgeous tweed-ish sort of material left over from a jacket I made, and I am soooo going to try to make a pair of shoes like this!!  I have never seen this done, before and I swear... I'm in awe, a little.

I definitely hit "this rocks".

Do you think you could post the link to the tutorial?  I would love to get an idea of how these are made!  I have to go to the fabric store to pick up some fabric for my Halloween costume, so I might as well grab some vinyl while I'm there.

  Thank you! I love browns! To make them hold their shape I used interfacing on both the outside fabric and the lining.
