For those who have children, I watch waaaay too much Noggin with my daughter, lol. The song they've been playing for Fall inspired this cake (okay and I received a bottle of maple syrup that I didn't want to go to waste!). It's a maple cake with maple 7-minute frosting. The leaves are from a tree we planted earlier in the year. I just had to share! (please excuse my ridiculously messy counter!  Embarrassed)

Aw, the cake looks yummy. Shame I have braces, I couldn't eat it even if I could. Y_Y You did a great job on it and adding the leaves made it look extra fancy.

There he was, painting the leaves on the trees with different designs. My only question was, why turn something so natural into something so man-made?

I'm impressed, I've never had maple cake but that looks delicious. Are you willing to share the recipe? I would love to make one. Beautiful touch with the leaves.
