This is my second coat, It is a Houndstooth pea coat style with pink lining and skull buttons. I found the houndstooth fabric at my local walmart and just had to buy it at $1/yd! The buttons I bought at a local dollar store. I drafted the pattern and designed the coat, it took two days to make. It is fully lined, topstitched and all seams and darts are serged. The only thing left to do is make a belt and iron. But all in all I love it. One of my favorite parts of the coat besides the buttons is the collar, it is an elizabethan style collar that can be worn either up or down. My neice wants one in her size, so that makes me happy.

I adore it. I just love pea coats.
The pink lining and skull buttons add such a nice touch.
Great job!
