Chain Maille Amber Wrapped Cabochon Choker and picking pics!

Hello!

I was commissioned to create this wrapped amber choker for a lady in Montana, and I've taken a few pics I think I like....you could say that they made beautiful music for me!

I like the first picture, the way the instrument is angled emulates a lady lying on her side, and we are seeing the small of her back, and the upthrust hip, and the curve of the piece is quite graceful across it.  Seems more sensual.  The plain wood grain also doesn't detract from it.  You see more of the detail of the amber in the latter three pictures, but the guitar strings seem a bit distracting to me.  The posing of the piece looks to stark in the second piece.

It's a beautiful piece, Hawkwolf; the wrap around the amber and the way the setting then attaches to the chain are gorgeous.  Pic 5 shows the necklace to best advantage I think.

I agree that the first one looks like a woman reclined on her elbow showing the angle of her neck and shoulder. Much less confusing to the eye than the others.

BTW, absolutely gorgeous job on the necklace!
Do you only do jewellery and chainmail clothing? Spartan helmets? lol

That's really lovely.

I'd choose the third pic, personally, I think the colour of the amber is brought out very nicely by the black. Somehow I think that the context of the choker sitting on the guitar is almost telling a story, and give more interest to the photo. I do also like the first pic, but I think if you were to use it maybe you should consider cropping out some of the space to the right of the picture, I think that might make for a more interesting composition.

LOL, taking another look at all the pictures, I think that the 5th shows the clearest detail, and is really pretty overall too. I'm not much help, am I? =/
