I made this for my daughter quite a few years ago (before having a digital camera - thus the crappy pictures!) and it is by far my favorite sewing project I have done.  She had been watching "Interview with a Vampire" and said she wanted to be a colonial vampire ... I didn't actually take any inspiration from the movie, just the suggestion she threw at me.  I wish I had better pictures - it was made with a grey and black watercolor fabric (at least that's what I call it - all these years of sewing and my terminology still sucks!), black satin, black lace and grey ribbon ... it was so beautiful on her!  In full costume she painted her face white with bright red lips and of course, vampire teeth.

I know it's hiding in a box somewhere in this house ... maybe someday I will have a grand-daughter to pass it on to!

Got this piece of shrinky dink ... had it for 25 years now.  It's moved to five states and one European country ... and I just know, someday ... SOMEDAY ... I WILL use it!
