Ive had this cowboy/ gunfighter drawn for a few months.. I  ran out of free time to finish it..
Ive been really intrigued with all the altered art stuff Ive been looking at, so this is what happened to my
painting this afternoon.. Its not glued or anything. I just thought it looked neat.. Should I decoupage and then paint my gunfighter or not decoupage..  Huh

I think the decopage adds to your own individual style.

Obviously paint first, unless you're very good at painting around edges and things in regards to the cutouts, touching up can be a right royal pain.

The background colour is stunning, bold and chunkey, I like the delicate pencil contrast on that. I would leave it as it is to be honest! Its a beautiful drawing! Simple! and yes the back ground is beautuful! Maby in a straight edged very very dark brown frame? Or even chesnut?
