... I have to say I really like the annee internationale de la femme card. Where did you get that?

Hmm... probably at a used book store?  I always pick up a handful of old postcards when I get the chance.  Smiley

ALSO:  REMINDER:  SEND-OUTS ARE TODAY!  Please PM me with your DC#, or let me and your partner know when you plan to send!!  THANKS!!

It's so awesome! I'm currently elbows deep in some rereading of Linda Nochlin and Pollock and Parker. Seeing that card is so perfectly timed.

That package is so rad oneredboot, I really like your style. Those coffee cozies are really cool looking. I normally dislike knitted things, mainly because I tried to learn and failed. But those are very classy looking. Also, is that book good? I'm really burnt out on my program and I think it would be inspiring. I can't wait to see what else you talented ladies have made, I sort of feel like the underdog here.

I received from kimmasaurus today!  She sent me a wonderful package:  an adorable purse with with matching zip pouch, three lovely-smelling soaps (are they coconut?  or, my husband thinks it's vanilla), and a fabulous wallet made of paint chips!  I love everything, thank you so much for a wonderful and thoughtful package!

And here's a close-up of the wallet...it's a little out of focus, sorry about that:

So great!  Thank you, kimmasaurus!

hahah you are welcome oneredboot!!  the soaps are vanilla with strawberry seeds for exfoliatin' and a goat milk base.  my fiance thought making soaps was the coolest thing he'd ever seen (and it was my first attempt!) so he requested a set for our own, and i really dig the goats milk base, it's pretty moisturizing!

Great package!  I love that bag - the fabric is so pretty.

I can also attest to how fantastic goat's milk soap is - I've recently starting using it on my face, and I've had no dryness or breakouts, even though it's been extremely dry here.  I think several people on my holiday list will be getting goat's milk soap this year!

I haven't used avocado, but I do use olive oil and I really like it.  It's not quite as moisturizing as goat's milk, so I stick with olive oil on my body, goat's milk on my face.

I see from my DC# that Star217's package has arrived - eek, swap anxiety!  I hope you like everything, Star!
