Thats right, from the creator of Cookie Monster http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=262033.0
I have created ELMO I just couldn't ignore all of your suggestions and requests for patterns, So just for you because I love you all so much, here he is:

You can find the pattern on my blog http://a-crochet-ninja.blogspot.com/2008/10/elmo-pattern-yay.html
I made him with mohair which is a nightmare to work with because you can't rip it out if you make a mistake  Undecided I had actually run out of plain black eyes so I got some coloured ones and painted them with black nail varnish. My friend sam has been suggesting more sesame street characters for me to make so I'll keep you updated, Well I hope you like him, let me know what you think.
xxx

He looks great.gonna work on him tonight. I'd like to make a suggestion if you don't mind. I don't want to offend or upset anyone. I found if you do a round of slip stich in the front loops around the mouth opening then sew to the back loops, the black mouth stitching does not show.
