This pattern makes me want to go learn how to knit. But sadly I really stink at knitting, does anyone know a pattern similar for crochet or anyone want to take a stab at making their own pattern for it?

Pleeeeassse I'd be in debt to you forever!

You might go to Crochet Pattern Central and look at the Women's Clothing pattern section.  You could adapt one of those patterns to what you want.  This one is somewhat similar; it has the basic roomy short pattern.

Good luck!

Crocheting is like prostitution.  First you do it for love, and then for a few close friends, and then for money.  Maybe that is why they call us Hookers?

Those are cute. I've thought about trying to crochet something to wear but after it took a while to do a cape for my daughter, I'm a little worried it'll take too long and I'll get bored. Still, I think some outerwear would be cute and comfortable.

I've heard that there are ways to convert knit patterns to crochet using some instructions for stitch substitution. I've never tried it myself, but if you're interested, let me know and I'll try to help. Smiley

I stumbled on this website a little while ago and it might be able to help you in your quest! I haven't converted anything yet so I'm not sure how well it will work for you, Good luck!
