Does anyone know of a bear pattern, that if I changed the colors and made a red shirt would pass for a winnie the pooh look-a-like?  I have a pattern for an actuall winne the pooh bear but the finished product is kinda big.  Im looking for one minature one.  Ive looked at so many bear patterns on different free pattern sites, but none would pass for a pooh.  Im tired of browsing tons of pages of bear patterns, so if you know of one particular pattern let me know.  Im wanting to make this for a friend of the family for Christmas.  Shes in the nursing home, and she always loved winnie the pooh.

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

You could use the pattern you have but with smaller yarn and hook.

I have a pattern book for a thread set of the Winnie the Pooh characters and I've seen the yarn version of the same book and the patterns are exactly the same just with larger yarn and hook.
