I haven't been on Craftster for far too long Shocked
So long that I just tried to post pictures with the <img src> tag and was surprised when it didn't work xD

Anyway, this is my favourite of my latest creations. I wanted to post some more, but everything else pales in comparison Tongue

It's made from a small (!) CA shirt, black lycra, stretchy leopard print cotton jersey, some lace, black bias band and some felt (for the ears). It's sooooo comfortable. I'm really proud of it ^^ Especially since it was the first time I made a scoopneck and pockets like this.

The front:

The side: (here you can see the cat ears!)

Better view of the pocket:

Detail shot:

I made a modified pattern for it myself and had to improvise a bit. It wasn't supposed to be three-paneled, but otherwise it wouldn't fit. I had to get the side panels out of the back of the shirt.
The top part wasn't supposed to be black either, but I accidentally cut the front too low. I'm really glad I made those mistakes though. Now it looks even cooler than in my head!
And because the whole thing was so leopardy, I couldn't resist adding cat ears to the hood Tongue

Sorry for the sucky lighting, but it was still dark outside and I was impatient Tongue

Thanks for looking!

I need some pink leopard in my life!  I love that, especially the lower, open neckline.  I hate the way I look in more masculine hoodies.

I seriously am not good at sewing but all of you young hip chickadees make me want to try again.  I have an awesome School House Rock T shirt that would make a cool hoodie.  I might have to put one together with contact cement, LOL!

Smiley That really looks fantastic, the word "sweatshirt" generally brings to mind a formless, unflatteringly large shirt that's saving grace lay in warmth. But, this is awsome, and it redefines what I've always associated with that word. Sooo, good job!

I honestly didnt expect to see something so "unrevealing" based on the title...I was expecting total skank gear lol, like maybe a bra with a hood attached... but despite the fact that she is on it, it is pretty darn cute! Cheesy

I totally understand panels to make it fit. Sometimes it looks better than before sometimes it doesn't. Yours wouldn't be the same without the panels! (if this doesn't makes sense, (maybe it's me), this is a compliment......i think)
