I know these are so simple but they are still fun to make and something to do with extra fabric .  Smiley

Great job on them.  Are you doing them for Christmas presents?

Those are really cute!  I love the flip flops.  Also, thanks for reminding me about another project I need to do.  I knew there was something I was forgetting.

Oh fun.  What a great way to use up extra fabric.

Great idea!
And so much more personalized than those plain things they give you at the bank.

Do people still use checks?  I can't even remember the last time I saw somebody take out a checkbook.

Right, these are so much fun to make.   I made a bit of a length adjustment and made it into a slim wallet to hold bills.  My friend wanted one to carry cash without looking like she had a wallet.  I put a loop on the side seam and she pins the loop to the inside of her purse when in the city.  A piece of Velcro holds it shut and makes it easy to reach in and get a bill or two without being obvious.  (In NYC you have to be "street smart!" but really, it isn't that bad.)

I don't use checks very often but it's still nice to have something pretty to put them in.  Smiley

Alas my apartment will only take rent in check form, well not plastic anyway Sad

i keep my checkbook around for when you run into a place only takes cash or check, or the day when the electronic machine breaks down at the store, my checkbook has saved my butt many of times.

this is cool, i love the different bright fabrics. that way it doesn't get lost at the bottom of a dark purse.
