my 5 year old niece would love a set!!! but how do they work on fine hair? Cause she has hair like mine and i have a devil of a time getting clips to stay in
You can use some non-slip on it to stop your clippie from sliding off.  I ordered some non-slip, but it hasn't come in yet.  Some non-slip look like foam and some look like that grippy drawer liner stuff you use in kitchen drawers.  Hopefully it works.

These are great!  Did ya know Target sells these as "Ribbies Clippies" 4 for $10.  I think I need to make me some of these.

I found out by a fluke yesterday that they sell Ribbies at Target.  I saw the Ribbies site a few months ago and thought to myself that I could make those.  You definitely need to make some of these.

Those clippies are super! My DD has a bunch...because Mommy is a clippie junkie & at age 2...she doesn't have a lot of hair yet! She's a girly girl & loves to be 'pampered'...not in the diaper sense! LoL!

Can you explain what the 'non-slip' stuff is you keep mentioning?  I've been wondering if you could use silicone sealant on the inside to give it a non-slip texture.  I've used it on doll joints to make them more sturdy, and it works wonders...and is cheap!

I just got into making this kind of clippies for my baby girl last week! I got my alligator clips at Sally's beauty supply....I've been using hot glue, but now I'm tempted to try using other glues to see if they are better. Your clippie set is really cute!
