I made this key holder for a friend's birthday.  She really likes the Muppets, so I thought it was fitting.  I woodburned the face and the X marks in the background, painted with acrylics, and then used brown paint to antique.  I think the next time I make something like this, I'll make the lines darker.  It was one of my first attempts at woodburning.  Does anyone have any tips for woodburning?

I don't have any tips but I wanted to compliment you on your steady hand.  When I used to try woodburning, my lines were very shaky.  Great job!

I think this is precious and I can't believe you did the face in woodburning. Great job at being so steady with it. I also just wanted to say that I really like the color combinations as well.
