My sister has 5 children and number 4 is currently using their high chair. The seat is going and well there is one more child that needs to use it.

She tried to buy a new one and the only stock the supplier had left had a picture of a rather surly looking 'hip hop' hippo on it. He was not a happy looking camper. She didn't want her children sitting on it Wink so she asked me to make her one.

I thought, 'sure how hard can it be'.

 Shocked

Well I'm not keen on making another one soon. Hopefully this one fits!!

We had trouble finding some vinyl to use so bought plastic coated table cloth. It looks ok in these pics, but I think if you saw it up closer the billions of errors and difficulties would be more evident Wink

I think it looks great!  Did you use a pattern or just copy the old one?

We took a pattern off the old one ... which was a little tricky as it was still in use. LOL

That is so cool! I was forever cursing over what a bugger my daughter's high chair was to clean post-meal - This is getting me thinking about removable covers that can be chucked in the washing machine.

Thanks for the lightbulb moment. Grin
