So I wanted to be the (a) grim reaper for halloween, and I got this great idea to make the outfit out of a preexisting item... So off to the Goodwill I went and found this:
and turned it into this:

 Here are some flat images:

showing off the lining
and some of the details.
I'll I have right now is an old kenmore that will only do straight stitch...
I would have liked to surge it there was a little warping but it seams to fit fine.
The lining is thermal skulls (Very warm! I would have done more pic's but I was so excited and it was getting very hot) and the buttons are white and clear skulls.

Any criticism/ comments are welcome!
And I will be updating the images of the Skull mask and (time permitting) the scythe when finished.

I like the skull fabric inside the hoodie, very cute! Are you planning to wear black pants / skirt? I always thought the grim reaper was in a long robe of some sort? I like it though, because you can wear it all winter and fall. =D

I think it is so cute to wear just as a hoddie with jeans, like you are in the pic!! I'd wear it all year long!

I'd wear it normally to. It has a swing-coat feel to it. With a make-shift scythe and a long flowy skirt you could pulll off the grim reaper look though.

Thanks for the feed back! Cheesy

I do plan on wearing it after I premier it on halloween, I modeled it after a Jacket ihave so it could be a little taliored and wearable.

I'm gonna go with a little black dress and my high heal combat boots.
