i made this little guy with some variagated nashua wool and some weird hairy red heart something or other i had around--he's probably a little more calico than the average hamster, but i like his beady little bead eyes and his cute little felt ears...

no, i just made a sort of skinny potato shape.  in fact, as i was making him i kept thinking that i should make a crochet mr. potatohead, with velco pieces to attach the face parts...but that's another project.
