Sooooooo... after lurking Roethke's Corset Tutorial for at LEAST a year... I finally decided to make one!! I LOVE IT!!! It makes me look like I have the body I WISH I had!!

I did alter the pattern and materials a bit, but here's what I came up with:

...and to give you an idea of HOW well it works... Take a look at my BEFORE pic without any foundation garments on:

UM YEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHH. RUN to your sewing machines!! LOL

And lastly... I realized I cut my head off in both pictures, but I loved my dark makeup that night. So for fun:

Meeeee!

I'm uber excited at this corset, if you couldn't tell.  Grin

THANK YOU!! Smiley The plan WAS to make that for Halloween... wear a tutu and be a ballerina... BUT seeing as my tutu is only half finshed, and I have no more money- that may not happen. SO, when I got invited to go out I wanted to wear something new... but... no money! So, I just wore that. I'm pretty happy with it. Smiley

Believe me, I understand!! It took me forever to build up the courage!! The tutorial is by Roethke here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=122286.0  It's SUPER EASY!! This is actually my second one... the first I did to go over the top of a wedding dress I made. Came out AWESOME! After I saw her gut disappear before my eyes, I HAD to have one!!!
