Did you cover the surface with adhesive first, or glue the dots individually (I hope you didn't glue them all individually!)?

i covered each area with glue first and did one layer and then individually glued the dots on top so they overlapped...

The puppy is just adorable!!!  I can see why you would want to create his image out of anything and everything!
