Hello everyone!
I don't usually make scrapbooks but since I had so many beautiful pictures and souvenirs from my trip, I thought it would be nice to make one. Here's a quick backstory for ya:

My best friend has been bugging me for the past 5 years to come with her back to Portugal (her "mother country") so we finally decided that July 2008 would be the perfect time (we both had jobs and were finally out of school). I brought along my sister and boyfriend for the ride and she took her boyfriend and the five of us (seven if you include her parents) took off from Newark Airport for a one week trip around the Lisbon area. We stayed at one of her grandmother's  apartments and rented a van that took us all over the area - it was the best vacation ever Cheesy (also my first plane trip!)

Here are a few shots of the scrapbook pages:

The cover - I took the main picture, the actual album had the b&w photos already on it

Page 3 - My boyfriend proposed! At Cabo da Roca - just a few of the many pictures Wink

Page 4 - One of the many palaces/castles we visited

Page 5 - Lisbon

Page 6 - Some of the sites

Page 7 - My best friend and her beau Wink

Page 8 - Obidos: A medieval town

Page 9 - Some more random shots... then a close up of a wooden sculpture I found Wink crazy chickens!

Page 10 & 11 - Last day we visited Fatima and a shot of us at Lisbon Airport

WHEW! Thanks for looking - I took most of these pictures myself (my sis and fiance took a few of them, also). I actually decided to make this for my engagement party this weekend so everyone could take a "quick" look at our trip.

LONGEST POST EVER.

THANKS! Cheesy
