paper mache mutant pumpkin ornament

Inspire by spookyblue's giant mutant pumpkin tutorial, http://spookyblue.com/halloween/giant-jackolantern/index.htm
I was inspire to make my own mutant pumpkin.  I started with a brown paper mache ornament that I bought. I used paper towel, tissue paper, florist wire in the stork and masking tape. I followed spookyblue's tutorial, adjusting it for a smaller ornament.

It is not as bright orange in real life, more dirty orange.




I want this to look scary not cute.  Do you think it is scary?

it is indeed scary--the "bear trap" , long mouth and sneaky eyes really help in this.   I thought it was painted metal at first from the picture!  looks great
