Mine are all packed and ready to go to the Post Office tomorrow. I think I'll put them under a stack of heavy books overnight to squash them down so they are thin enough to go at the cheapest postage rate. LOL

Those of you who are new to this swap - if you try and wind the yarn flat rather than in balls it is usually much cheaper to post as you can get it the letter rather than parcel rate. And don't worry about using a padded bag - a strong envelope is fine.

Though from US to US people need the package a little thicker for getting a DC number because the package has to be a certain thickness and DCs are required for US to US.

For all the international shipping, good idea.  I'm not sure it will work in the US though because the post person weighed all my packages and the I had to pay slightly more for the person living within my state than the out of staters.  I guess the yarn must have been slightly more bulky.

With DC#, most of mine were $1.95 with the one in my state costing $2.09.  One person did cost $3.62 for shipping, but that is because they are also getting a Little Visitor because we are partners in the Little Visitor swap. Cheesy

Wow, everyone is on the ball! I will be digging in my stash this weekend while the baby naps- she has little patience for mama to play with yarn instead of her when she is awake!

got my package from Myklia.  I'm real excited cause Douglee Puglee is in there too! Smiley He's neat.  Right now he's relaxing, as traveling is very taxing on oneself.
