The baby shower is tomorrow; I'm working, so an aunt is delivering for me. I hope she likes it!

When I first went to take pictures I laid it out on my pathetically sized twin bed and it stretched the width of it. This is when my generous roommate scolded me for being silly and I took pictures on his much larger bed. He allowed me to easily avoid snapping pictures which would include our ugly-rented-apartment-carpet and my I've-worked-all-week clutter.

So yes, it is a good size for a bitty baby. And it did go over well at the shower.

I figured I'd post my progress so far...



Between the 2 sick kids and the shawl I made for the MIL, I've not gotten far, obviously.  I'm thinking a couple more rows, then do the half blocks (I have to read the pattern again) around the edge.  I'm thinking around crib blanket size.  As much as I loved a few of my large baby blankets, they were too unwieldy to actually use while out and about.

I like how the use of different colors really makes a difference. astrisked has the zig zaggity pattern, while Sorchas looks like 3D blocks. They're both awesome.

i am using vanna's choice baby in pink poodle, little boy blue, and duckie and a J hook since thats what my yarn calls for and i rather use a large hook cause i want to try to make this blanket crib size with out taking forever

I like that color combo.  Still working on mine, but it's kinda on hold till after xmas.
