So, people dress up pretty intensely for homecoming week at my school. Our theme for one of the days was "Inseparable," and my lunch group made plans to go as the Borg from Star Trek. Somehow, I let myself be pressured into dressing up as the Borg Queen...

This was not only my first time using pleather, but also my first corset. The craftsmanship is kind of shoddy... Church keys= PAIN.

Craploads of bobby pins + hairspray + wires stolen from the electronics lab = alternative to bald cap.

We made "Resistance is futile" sign for the pep rally. Yep.

Even if it was, though, I wouldn't let you go--you could run, run, run, run but I will follow close.

That is awesome, and probably the most appropriate thing one could possibly wear to homecoming!  Wink

That's great! I really love your hair, with actual electrical wire no less.  Did you use a pattern for the top or wing it from looking at the photo?

Oh wow, that's great! I absolutely love it! We have themes for the days leading up to our homecoming too, but nothing that could've produced something as awesome as this (blue and gold day for us, woohoo)!

Oh WOW! You are so rad. I'm in the middle of making a star trek costume too, and its such a pain in the ass!! I give kudos for an awesome job on the costume and very creative hair.

Do you say 'yes' to a single desire? Oh, my friends, then you say 'yes' to all pain.

This is fantastic!  I dream of cosplaying Seven of Nine someday because she's one of my favorites (a couple of my co-Trekkie friends sometimes refer to me as Seven cos they say I look kind of like her, haha) but the Borg Queen is just excellent!  Do you have any pictures of the rest of your collective?
