Thanks!  I dyed the roving with lemon-lime off brand drink mix.  It smelled so good before I rinsed it out.   Grin

As for getting such a good deal, scour Craigslist.  I checked almost every day for a few months.  I guess my patience was rewarded! Smiley

It is fabulous!  My mom won't let me take my wheel to school with me because she wants me to be social and stuff, but whenever I go home for the weekend I spin.  I just figured out Navajo plying, which is super cool.

Your wheel will make you MORE social. Seriously, bring it somewhere public, sit down, and SPIN! You'll have more people asking you questions, wanting to watch you, wanting to try it, wanting to be friends with you than if you had just gone to a coffee shop and stared at a laptop!

I love navajo plying. I thought I wouldnt have the coordination for it, but I do Cheesy

If only the Elizabeth was more portable! Cheesy  I think I might grab it this weekend while my parents are gone.  Sneaky sneaky.  I want to go to this Ravelry group that tries to meet up every once in a while.

I keep checking Craigslist for something portable, but no luck yet. Undecided

I love Navajo plying too.  I have my hand whipping around like crazy.  I'm sure I look pretty goofy. Cheesy

haha I was hauling the trad I was using for a while around. Not really portable... but I was desperate. I love my lendrum! I love that it folds. now I just need the carrying case for it.
