well my partner has recieved, and I thought since I have a teensy bit of time for computing i'd post a pic or two of what i sent.

I hand carved a cat head from a block of wood to represent one of the disney cats. it ended up being figaro. It's a little folk-arty but turned out to become a pendant on a multistrand leather necklace.

Enjoy.

here is the pendant next to a piece of the same wood it started out as.

and a closeup Smiley

I cut my finger pretty bad in the process, but learned a lot about carving different shapes. I usually just help my dad do little birds and things of puffins and seagulls for tourists, but I want to expand my carving skills. I have a pattern for gnomes somewhere. Anyhoo...

This swap was great! Cheesy

My partner's item arrived at its destination but unfortunately she is not there right now so that should come soon hopefully - I don't want to ruin the surprise for her.

Everything else has been awesome!

Warning to Pinky Yarn - Do not look if you don't want to see what is waiting for you.....

This is what I sent to Pinky Yarn (it is at its destination but she is not so hopefully she will get it soon):

Pinky loves the color pink and the princesses.  It is a decoupaged box with Cinderella sayings and the glass slipper.  The glare from my camera is really bad but it says Fairy Tales Do Come True on the inside and there is a raised crown on the top and other sayings such as dreams are wishes of the heart etc.  It was made with Disney papers and stickers too.  I hope she likes it!  Thanks for looking, Keri

Thank you both  Grin  I liked it to and may try to recreate it so hopefully Pinky Yarn will like it.

I think that was 7 items posted and I think there were 10 of us so we may see a few more still....

Thanks MissDisney for doing this swap and for the new Disney swap that will open, I am very excited!
