i made these toys for the crazy for cat lovers swap 2

first are the fortune cookies. I got the pattern from my 2008 knitting calendar. i felted them and then stuffed them with polyfiber and catnip

second i made a bunch of these little goldfish. i dont remember where i got the pattern from. they have a small amount of stuffing and catnip. you can see how smal they are compared to the penny.

I looove the fortune cookies.  The teensy fish are really cute too, but a word of caution: make sure the fish are not so small that your kitties could swallow and choke on them.

My hubby and I have four cats.  The tongue of a cat has barbs on it that go toward the throat, so stuff goes into the throat easily, but doesn't come out as easily.

Thanks for the reminder!  I was thinking about making these tiny fishies up and it completely slipped my mind that I need to "kitty proof" things.  Thanks again!
