i realized today that i never showed off the fruit skirt i made a while ago, and i thought it was well about time. it my favourite skirt and i looove it. i have a lot of fabric left that i don't know what to do with, any suggestions? at first i thought i'd do another one, this time with the fruit pattern vertically, as i first intended to but somehow screwed up, but now i really don't see the point as i love it the way it is.

i used this pinafore tutorial i found here on craftster. i couldn't follow it exactly since i'm dumb enough to think i know better, so it's not as great as it could've been.

more details and related rants in my blog here, here and here.

I love high-waisted skirts!

I've really got to get used to 'jumper' meaning 'dress', in England it means a wool sweater. Confusing!

i bought some fabric today, and immediately hit craftster for something to do with it lol.
did you put a zipper or hook&loops into the waistband? cause it looks like the one you made fits quite well.
