I'd always be up for swapping tree items!

Grin Me too....I just found a cabled sweater pattern on Etsy for a tree hoodie (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=vt_related_1&listing_id=18035559) Wink Gonna try it out (it's chunky weight too so it'll be faster to knit - which is good 'cause I'm a slow knitter) Grin  Anyone interested??!
Wow, that pattern is beyond awesome! I love it!!!...it is almost inspiring enough to make me want to learn how to really knit...don't suppose that is possible with crochet???

I would love to participate in another roundbut I'm taking a break from crafting for swaps. I miss crafting for me! But organizing? Well, I'm pretty savvy about that because I can do it while crafting... rofl

So I'll organize round 2, if needed!

Wink I know! I'm gonna modify it so that it has long sleeves (3/4 ones just drive me crazy!!!), but I totally loved the look and lots of people had finished ones on Ravelry that looked wicked awesome. Since I just finished my first cable project (hahahaha - yup, I'm that crazy/stupid), I'm totally gonna go overboard and do these (along with Bella's mittens from the Twilight movie - haven't seen it or read the book yet, but loved the mittens!) after I finish knitting my 12 mohawk hats for the cousins/kiddies....I miss trees.....way easier and funner (yup - apparently an actual word as spell check didn't underline it Tongue).... That sweater is awesome.  I would never have the patience for it.
I know how to knit but just don't enjoy it.  I prefer crocheting.  When I was 12 I wanted yarn and instructions to make a sweater, for my birthday.  I chose purple yarn and the pattern was for a short sleeved sweater in stockinette stitch.  I had finished the back and started the fronts but got too bored with it.  My sister finished it for me.  I did knit sweater for my children when they were little.  As they got bigger my sister would occasionally knit them sweaters.

I took some action shots yesterday as promised! I went to a Christmas lunch with the girls today and my necklace and bracelet were the complete stars of the show, everyone loved them! Grin I shall try not to slur my typing, they were very generous with their Irish coffees! Cheesy

Leafy headband...

Awesome, awesome necklace!

(ignore my silly expression)

A far better photo of the beaded bracelet than before, it shows the colours of the stones and beads better & how perfectly they sit together.

Again, I can't thank you enough Jenicat! Kiss

Phizzychick - I love all the stuff that Jenicat crafted for you.

Jenicat - How did you do that bracelet?!  I am in crafty lust with it.  Me and my non-existent jewelry making skills really want to try this out if you don't mind sharing or hinting or directing me along the right path.  I'll beg if that will help   Wink
