hat and glittens

A very basic hat meant to be utilitarian.  It's knit with two strands, one of the acrylic purple color I liked and some left over navy blue wool.  It's warm and practical.  The glittens have their own post, but basically they're fetching cuff with two gloved fingers and a mitten for the remaining three.  A practical compromise, especially if you can see in the background, the little thermometer is reading -18.4F, and yes, it's still October!
