Alucard (Castlevania: Symphony of the Night) - video game character.


This costume was a doozy, in the sense that working with metallic thread is a passion you need otherwise, you'll find yourself banging your head because it breaks so easily. And that traveling to 7 different Jo Ann's stores (about 100 miles), for 27 buttons is definitely the sign of insanity.

Coat was done in Moleskin, vest twill. The character has a lace lining within the coat, so I had to line the entire inside with this beautiful bridal lace I found in the clearance bin. Then I had to add the studs (pyramid) to the vest and then the buckles. Studding is quite boring...if you dont have the right tool to do it with (bedazzler...i needed a bedazzler...)

holy shiznat. that's cool!  Shocked i love the sleeves! good translation Smiley i think those are the hardest to replicate when it comes to actually costume construction. Tongue lol i don't know if its me or something...but it looks like somone's in the background taking a picture of you! lol it may just be me Tongue
