$13 Anchor(wo)man Ron Burgundy Costume

I will admit I am a tad bit obsessed with Will Ferrell    So for Halloween two years ago I decided to dress as Ron Burgundy, rather than some cliche costume that you've seen a million times before.  I didn't want to spend too much so I went to the Salvation Army and found a maroon suit and blue striped tie for under $12.  I found the microphone at Spencers the day before Halloween marked down to 99 cents and everything else I had in my closet.  Well, except for the poorly matched mustash which my best friend provided after I couldn't find one to match for the life of me--I even attempted to make on out of a lock of the wig but that plan failed miserably.  The wig was actually a mullet that I'd used the year before, with the length tucked and pinned up.

My fiance still has trouble looking at these!  He claims I shouldn't be able to pull off being a dude so well   I guess that means I did a good job!

I posted on the other thread but I had to mention it here too.  This is the BEST!  I love it!  I think I have to go watch this movie again tonight.

Haha--YES!!!  Someone who shares my love of Anchorman   My friends and I were obsessed with this movie and would quote it on a regular basis.  I haven't seen it in a while either--it gets funnier each time I see it, I swear.

Haha--yeah those are good ones!  His inflection totally makes the human torch one hysterical!

And yeah, I was totally in character for the majority of the night (I ended up pretty trashed by the end of the night so I'm guessing I slipped up some then )I actually practiced impersonating him at least a month in advance and my friend said I was creepily accurate, which I took as a compliment!
