Hi,

I'm in Leicester. I love Knitting and sewing handbags most but will try my hand at pretty much anything.

My most recent makes are an Amy Butler tear drop handbag and a Cross stitch cushion cover with a day of the dead skull motif.

Hello!

I live in Much Wenlock, in Shropshire (inbetween Shrewsbury and Telford).  I have been considering starting a pub knitting/crochet group. I used to go to one in Telford, but I don't drive, so I can't really get there.  Anyone interested?

I find Shropshire quite dull really, so it would be nice to meet up with other crafty-types.

Hello

I am off to Brum for the weekend, hopefully will get a chance to visit the lost in lace exhibition @ Birmingham museum.  Does anyone know if there are any crafty goings on / craft shops in or around Birmingham city centre?  I have a few hrs spare on Saturday morning (assuming Friday night isn't too heavy!).

Thanks

Hellooo! I might be interested if you organised something in Shrewsbury...I live in Wellington but I don't have a car so I can only get to places by train...same as you really, it's easy to get trapped in Shropshire if you can't drive isn't it...it's difficult to get places...hope you find some crafty new friends somewhere! xx

Just to say that I visited the Lost in Lace exhibition at Birmingham museum at the weekend, and it was brilliant.  If you are in the area pop in and have a look.  It is free to get in to, plus it is just round the corner from the big Christmas markets (and is lovely & tranquil in comparision!).  I think it is on till the middle of feb.
