I crocheted this grocery bag from used plastic grocery bags.  It does not photograph well Sad  but I love it.  This is my first crocheted bag and my first time using plastic bags as yarn.  It was a fun project.

Hope you like it Smiley

Wow!
I love it!
I've been wondering about crocheting with things other than yarn. Aka, plastic or cloth. Do you just cut the bags into strips and go from there, or something else? I'd love the help, because I think it would be hilarious to make a hat out of a plastic bag. Aha. =)

There are a lot of different tutorials on the web of various ways to cut the bags.  I just started at the top with the handles and cut in a spiral strip all the way to the bottom.  It seemed to work well.
