So...little story here. I was at the thrift store (where I can often be found  Tongue) and I saw these pants. They were pink, white, lime green, and red stripes. I was all, I MUST BUY THESE!!!! So. I did. And they sat in my studio for months and months while I tried to figure out what to do with them....anyway, here's a picture of the pants pre-FrankenClothes-ing:
The only pic I have of them as pants is modeled by my friend Ellie, who was being a bit strange =)

AAAAND....AFTER:
modeled by the lovely Vivian:

So, I'm not sure exactly what it is...It's a skirt but you can't wear it by itself or it would be a little revealing...But anyways, I'd really love some opinions on it.
Thanks!!!!!!!

I'd call it a hip corset!

You could wear it over a dress, pants, another skirt, shorts, etc...

OMG THAT IS SO EXCELLENT!!!

I saw the pants and thought "those are great- but sooooo ugly!!! How will she ever make anything nice out of them?!"

And then I saw just exactly how! And now I'm eyeing my stash, wondering what ugly thing I could make into a "weird little skirt thing" cause I just adore it!

YAY! Thanks for all the AWESOME comments, everyone!!!! =)
I think I'll keep it as is for now, I had the same thoughts as you, kbg027, about the shirt, but it would need some major alterations to look good on me =)
NyteRayn, if you make one, be sure to post pics!!! =)
Thanks again everyone!!

Cute!
I have a suggestion, add a couple of pockets and you've got one awesome apron!
