The pattern may be slighty familiar, it's the same one I drew for a pirate cushion a few months back. Here she is again...minus the hat.

I finished stitching the top and thought, 'do I like that green?' Still not sure.

The background at first was just machine stitched but it looked boring so I handstitched the pattern.

I might fill the hair in a bit more. Hope you like her.

I like the textures you've chosen to stitch, it works really well.
It makes me think that stitching the hair might be too much though.
But seriously, great work.

She's just gorgeous! I think the color of the top and the eyes compliment each other. I agree with MrXStitch about stitching the hair might be too much -- I think leaving the hair unfilled helps it stand out more than it would if it was filled in.

Excellent stitching!!

Wow! I love this! It looks really great. And to answer your question, yes I do like that green.  Smiley
I like all the colours in fact. I think they really compliment each other.

amazing, and i agree with the others, i think the hair should remain as is, the hair and face really pop on the being surrounded by the blue background and green tank top

Thanks everyone! I shall leave the hair, I think you're right bookwormbethie that the hair and face pop out against the background. I think I'd just been stitching too long and couldn't see where to stop, or if the colours worked.
