I stopped by Sally's (Salvation Army) this weekend and found a wool sweater. I've wanted to try felting for some time---mostly inspired by Cindygert, so when I found this sweater I was pretty stoked. It has no lining; but I did reinforce the strap with a strip of ribbon. The ribbon also adds some color. It was pretty plain so I put the flower on the front.

Wow I love what you did with the sweater. It's beautiful and look so soft. Makes me want to rub my face into it. Haha! The ribbon really does make it extra special. I love how it's poking out of the flower. Cheesy

Beautiful bag!
I recently made a felted sweater bag for a swap, and I have a couple more wool sweaters waiting to be upcycled into pretty bags as well.
I love that flower - it adds such a lovely touch, and the grey color beautiful and chic.

It looks great!

I have a felted sweater that has been waiting to be turned into a bag for a while now, I think I may just go for it.

I would love to know how you made the flower, it adds a special touch.  Grin
