So I completely loooooove carving pumpkins and I get excited every year when I start seeing pumpkins big enough to carve on.... I was out today and decided I couldn't wait any longer!

Here he is all lit up...


Here he is in the light....


And here is the inspiration *in case you couldn't tell, which is understandable, lol*


For good measure, here is last year's attempt... I think he looks a little bit more like who he is supposed to!

I really like it but I gotta say that I think it looks a bit better under normal light thank it does lit up... I think the basic problem is your detail work isn't showing up. Can you maybe deepen it a bit?? It seems a waste to go through all that effort and not have it show up!  Grin

Lol i think that has more to do with the crappy camera, combined with a massive inability to photograph things well in the dark (or really, just to photograph things well in general....)

IRL the details actually show up.... Alas, I took about thirty photos and that was the best one of the bunch  Cry
