Hi folks,

I am doing a penguin theme in my hall bathroom.  It's a little kiddish but it makes me happy  Grin I will post pictures of the entire bathroom once I finish a couple more works in progress for the room.

Every time I am sitting on the can I feel like the plain dingy white light switch cover and outlet cover are glaring at me.  So I finally took them down, washed them, and modged podged them with lime green tissue paper.  The rug and towels I have in there have lime green accents, so it's not as random as it sounds.   Wink  After the modge podge was dry, I stuck on Sticko glitter penguin and fish scrapbook stickers I had found on ebay, and put 2-3 layers modge podge over those.  I got two sheets of the stickers and I have just enough after this project to decorate the clock also, which I am in the process of modge podging now.

And without further ado, here they are:

Light switch

It's too cute to only have one picture of  Cheesy

Outlet cover - It's in an awkward place on the wall next to the sink and medicine cabinet hence the shadow

*Edited to add* - I am going to paint those horrible screws eventually, so ignore the random half white half rusted eyesores

Crafts make us feel rooted, give us a sense of belonging and connect us with our history.  Our ancestors used to create these crafts out of necessity, and now we do them for fun... to express ourselves.

They came out adorable.  They are so sweet.  If the screws bother you maybe stick on "air bubbles" over them.
Like this idea.
