I had some free time while waiting for new yarn to arrive in the mail, so I improvised this to occupy myself.  I used stash yarn - Tahki Cotton Classic in green and white - and size US 3 needles.  It was my first intarsia, but it was super easy - my main problem was trying to keep my tension even.

Well from the pic I thought it was an awesome headband, still its a wonderful ds case. You should make a headband though, winter is coming up, you might need it!

Wow! Awesome! Anything Zelda is the best thing ever in my book. I was thinking the other day of making a DS case/cozy for myself and what a great idea to have the Triforce on it! I've never done intarsia before...and I'm a pretty newbie knitter, so maybe I can knit the Triforce separately and sew it on to the case? Hmm. Anyway, well done! :-D Keep up the Zelda knitting Smiley

Oh not even that - you could knit it without the triforce and then put it on later with duplicate stitch.  Knitty has an article about it here http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEspring06/FEATspr06FK.html

Ahhh, YES! I have to knit or crochet myself one of these some day - my poor DS lite is being ... scratched. That's a shame, because they are oh, so pretty! Seriously, I salivate just looking at the new generation DS.
So I do want a DS case with a triforce on it ... Yours is ber cool.
