I received a few days ago; but what with the thanksgiving rush I forgot to post!

My partner and I decided to send four bags each and mine all arrived in various shades of beautiful blue.

Of course, the piece de resistance was the Jaws-themed bag I requested.

It's a bone that has been chomped off by that pesky shark! All of the other skippers are going to be so jealous!
I couldn't get a good pic, but the lining appears to be fabric from an actual hospital gown. AWESOME!

Both the outer and lining fabrics are, Cheebz. They had never been used though of anything, though.  So no worries about any weird stuff that they could have came in contact with.

That's kind of awesome. Especially since I have a long history of stealing weird stuff (including gowns) from hospitals.

I love how well the strap fabric goes with the green!

I totally used my bags today and the cashier complimented me on how stylish they were. This is pretty much the most useful swap I have ever been involved in.

Since my partner flaked, here is what I send to her:

We had a "nautical punk" theme. I hand-dyed the fabric and bag is trimed with red bias.

And here is the detail of the Freezer paper stencil/applique thing. The bows and the lower safety pin are "real", the rest is stenciled/painted

and I added an eyelet and attached a little skull-formed purse. The "face-lines" are machine stitched

Now I am sad I send it, because I think it is pretty cool.. yay for self-praise Wink
